Roxboro Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Roxboro Country Club first opened as a 9-hole course in 1939. It was expanded to 18 holes in 1969. Ellis Maples designed the expansion of the course.
The golf course is set amid rolling, slightly wooded terrain. You'll find a number of examples of how Maples matches design elements with the length and pitch of the hole: Long holes have big greens; short holes have smaller greens with more protection. Water comes into play on a few holes and this adds a great deal visually to the course.
